Tower F Restaurant in Clacton was chosen by the production team of Channel Four’s programme “How to look good naked” to feature a Clacton woman who wants to feel attractive in a bikini.  The programme will be shown on Tuesday 29/05/07 at 8.00pm.

The TV programme was filmed in and around Clacton some weeks ago, and Tower F Restaurant was chosen by the production team as the ideal place for presenter and stylist Gok Wan to surprise her while she was having lunch.

Rosalie Robinson, the proprietor of Tower F Restaurant (pictured below with Gok), said  “It was a great honour to be chosen, the producer phoned us and said she had been told that Tower F is the best restaurant in Clacton and asked if we would allow them to film inside our wonderful tower.”

Gok and his team were very interested in the Tower which is the only Martello Tower to have survived with its original draw bridge and moat intact.

After filming in the Tower and from the roof terrace the crew moved on and spent most of the afternoon filming at the entrance to the pier.
